WALK FOR ALZHEIMER
The Rhode Island Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk has
a new name: "The Walk to End Alzheimer's." It's on October
2, 2011 at Pawtucket's Slater Park at 9am . For the past several years we have had a small team
involved in the Walk for Alzheimer and again I am soliciting
donations and walkers! It is an easy rather social walk and
it is a great cause. We have been one of the few
Identifiable groups walking as we have carried our
organizations banner. So if you are free and want to join
the group of walkers, please let me know. Last year, PAWA
had a team in Memory Walk for the Alzheimer's Association
and we raised $1,270!!! Let's beat that total! If you are
financially able, please send a donation to:

Tea Time
Our Tea Time event which was held on.
May 4, 2011 at Waterplace Restaurant in
Providence, RI. was a success. Thanks to
everyone who helped organize this event. This event provided
women the opportunity to learn the risks of heart
disease as well as network with professionals
from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Proceeds
from this event will support Heart Health for
Women.
